Korea, 15 May 2018 - On May 12 and 13, Ferrari successfully held ‘2018 Pilota Ferrari Around the World Korea’, a driving training program exclusively available for Ferrari owners.

‘2018 Pilota Ferrari Around the World Korea’ is a part of Ferrari's customized driving training program, and has been held in Korea since 2015, becoming a regular domestic track event for Ferrari.

Providing one-on-one instructions by the professional instructors of Corso Pilota team from Italy, this program was designed to offer participants a chance to experience the ultimate pleasure of driving, and also to contribute to the development of motor sports and racing culture in Korea. Prior to the event, a free vehicle inspection was provided for all the participants’ vehicles to ensure safe operation of the event.

The event received an overwhelming response with 50 customers taking part in the event with their own Ferrari and getting personalized instructions according to their models. The training was conducted in a comprehensive and systematic curriculum that combines Sport Driving Course, learning the basic steps of driving sports cars and the Advanced Course, learning sophisticated control skills. Therefore, participants gave very positive responses commenting that the program was very helpful in understanding the culture of Ferrari and enhancing the driving skills.

In addition, the Slalom competition, which was held as a part of the event, Ferrari with Pirelli, Ferrari’s official tire partner, awarded ‘Pirelli P Zero tires’ to the winner who marked the fastest lap time.

Furthermore, making the event even more meaningful, FMK, the official importer and distributor of Ferrari in South Korea, graciously donated all participation fees from the event to a child welfare institution in Korea named Holt Children's Services Inc.

“Ferrari with its incomparable racing DNA has been leading global racing culture, and I am confident that this event will also contribute to the development of Korean racing culture,” said Cho, Kyung-ho, the General Manager of Ferrari brand in FMK. He added, “We will continue to offer Ferrari's unique driving experience to our domestic customers through various events."

‘2018 Pilota Ferrari Around the World Korea’ is scheduled for its second event on this October.
