The Ferrari Purosangue, meaning “thoroughbred” in Italian, was unveiled in September 2022 after years of anticipation by international automotive fraternity. This model represents the culmination of Ferrari’s 75 years of leading-edge research and is the first authentic four-door sports car from the brand, designed to be enjoyed with family, children, and friends. Equipped with Ferrari’s iconic naturally aspirated V12 engine, it delivers an impressive 725 cv of power. Unlike average modern GT engines, the Purosangue has a mid-front-mounted engine with the gearbox at the rear to create a sporty transaxle layout. Additionally, the newly developed Ferrari Active Suspension System very effectively controls body roll in corners as well as the tyre contact patch over high-frequency bumps to deliver the same performance and handling response as in one of the marque’s sports cars.
