October 10, 2024 – Ferrari successfully hosted “Passione Ferrari Club
Challenge 2024,” a track driving program for its clients, in Inje Speedium,
Gangwon from October 5 to 6.
The Passione
Ferrari Club Challenge is a program for owners of track-only cars, the 'Ferrari
488 Challenge Evo.' This year's event registered a total of 12 participants
from countries including South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, and
Malaysia. Passione Ferrari Club Challenge pits drivers against the clock in a ‘time
attack’ competition, where they can
refine their driving skills under the guidance of professional instructors in a
structured manner.
Club Challenge tuition covers all aspects of performance vehicle control
and technique and integrates training for professional racing situations to
equip competitors with the skills needed to advance to one of the Ferrari
Challenge racing series taking place around the world, including Ferrari
Challenge Japan. Every current Ferrari Challenge car is fitted with telemetry
devices for recording detailed lap data. This brings insights that can be
broken down and analyzed, generating the necessary information to improve lap
times, and allowing for direct comparison with other drivers.
Additionally, Ferrari hosted the 'Esperienza Ferrari Club Challenge' this year. Prospective competitors of the Ferrari Club Challenge had the opportunity to test drive the Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo alongside professional instructors, allowing them to personally experience the excitement and allure of the Ferrari Club Challenge.
From the 3rd to the 4th, the customer event "Esperienza Ferrari
12Cilindri" took place. "Esperienza Ferrari" is a unique test
drive program that allows customers to experience the latest Ferrari vehicles.
This event offered participants the opportunity to be among the first in the
country to test drive the 12-cylinder two-seater berlinetta, the Ferrari
12Cilindri, which was globally launched in May. This year, around 30 customers
participated, and under the guidance of professional instructors, they enjoyed
the thrill and powerful soundtrack of the iconic naturally aspirated front-mid
12-cylinder engine delivering a maximum output of 830 cv, as well as the
exhilarating driving experience on the Inje Speedium track.
Kim Hyun-jin, the general manager of the Ferrari brand in FMK, stated,
"The Passione Ferrari Club Challenge is not just a driving program; it is
a celebration of Ferrari's heritage and community, designed to allow customers
to deepen their affection for the brand and create unforgettable experiences.
Through such events, we hope that customers can enjoy the motorsport spirit and
racing culture that are fundamental to Ferrari on a deeper level."
