(Seoul, 29 November
2024) – Ferrari hosted a “Car Care Talk” event for PHEV model owners on
November 26 at the Ferrari Busan Showroom and on November 27 at the Ferrari
Banpo showroom.
Approximately 30 clients participated in the event, which featured a presentation by a service manager from Ferrari Far and Middle East. The session covered proper maintenance methods and introduced useful features of hybrid vehicles. Additionally, Ferrari’s flagship PHEV models, the “SF90 Stradale” and “296 GTB,” were showcased at the venue, offering the opportunity to see demonstrations and directly apply the information to the display vehicles.
SF90 Stradale is Ferrari’s first series production PHEV to celebrate Scuderia Ferrari’s 90 years. It adopted various knowledge and technologies learned from F1 races, including its pioneering 1,000cv plug-in hybrid drivetrain and its four-wheel drive layout. It takes only 2.5 seconds from zero to 100km/h. To ensure drivers can easily harness this incredible power, the newly developed eSSC system analyses the car’s movements in real-time. Based on torque vectoring, it distributes the appropriate torque to each front wheel via the front motors, enabling faster and more stable cornering.
296
GTB is the first Ferrari road-car to sport a new 663cv 120° V6 engine, which
has set a new specific power output record for a production car of 221cv/l.
Coupled with a rear-mounted electric motor capable of delivering an additional
122kW (167cv), the plug-in hybrid system brings the total output of the new V6
hybrid architecture to 830cv. The 296 GTB redefines the very concept of fun
behind the wheel, guaranteeing a thrilling experience not only when taking the
car to its limits but also in day-to-day driving.
