Korea, 30 March 2018 – Ferrari introduced its first appearance of Ferrari Portofino, a new GT convertible, at an official customer event in Korea on March 28.

The event was held at a cultural complex called 'Sevitseom', uprising landmark on the Han River in a downtown of Seoul, to express the atmosphere of Portofino, a city famous for its beautiful harbor in Italy.

The event, which began with a presentation of the car, also included programs such as VR screen performance and a pop singer concert for the domestic customers who have been looking forward to the launch of the Ferrari Portofino. In particular, the VR Performance, by realizing the outstanding performance and versatility features of Portofino with 3D screen drawings, claimed many customers' attention.

The highlight of the event, the dramatic unveiling of the Ferrari Portofino, also impressed the audience. The customers were deeply moved by the video portraying the Portofino as coming into the Sevitseom, along with the actual vehicle’s sudden appearance behind the stage at the end of the video.

The CEO of FMK, the official Ferrari importer and distributor in South Korea, Kwang Cheol Kim stated that “Ferrari Portofino is the most powerful convertible GT in Ferrari line-up, with breakthrough the evolution in design, performance, and all the aspects compared to its predecessor.” He added, "We are confident that Portofino will definitely be another successful Ferrari model that will deliver the best satisfaction to our customers who have been waiting for more advanced Ferrari GT in terms of performance and driving emotions aspects."
