Nov 23, 2021 – Ferrari, one of the world’s leading luxury brands, in concert with author Cho Seungyeon, hosted the "Italian culture and Enzo Ferrari" event on the 20th and 21st of November for its VIP customers at Ferrari Banpo showroom.
Inviting around 40 VIPs of Ferrari, this event was proceeded with renowned author of humanities, Cho Seungyeon's talk on Italian culture and the introduction of Enzo Ferrari who has been chosen as a ‘Great Character’ by Montblanc.
Every year, Montblanc selects a person who contributed to world culture and arts as a ‘Great Character’ and presents limited-edition fountain pen series to honour the person’s great legacy. Following Walt Disney of 2019 and Elvis Presley of 2020, Ferrari’s founder Enzo Ferrari was selected for this year.
The founder of Ferrari, Enzo Ferrari was a master who devoted his life to racing and making cars. Established in 1929, his racing team “Scuderia Ferrari” holds the astonishing record of "more than 5,000 wins" in the world-class racing competitions including F1. Under his strong devotion to make best-in-class cars with sophisticated technologies and craftsmanship gained from innumerable races, Ferrari has been leading the global automobile industry by introducing innovative models since the brand was founded in 1947.
On-site, Enzo Ferrari which is a symbolic model produced in 2002 was displayed. As a limited-edition model made of only 399 units, Enzo Ferrari has also known as the epitome of super cars with the excellent performance and design enough to be said to continue the reputation of F40. Also, with the showcase of Montblanc Enzo Ferrari Edition, the signature class for customers was provided to refine their signatures by comprehensively reflecting their personality, taste, and occupation.
“The event is designed to help Ferrari customers experience and understand the meaningful footsteps and legacy of our founder Enzo Ferrari,” explained the General Manager of Ferrari brand in FMK, Kyung-Ho Cho. He also added, "we will continue to provide the exclusive and unique programs for Ferrari owners while engaging in diverse activities to introduce the culture of Italy, which has the world's richest cultural heritage."
