July 6, 2021 – Ferrari unveiled the second video of its global campaign for Ferrari Roma - La Nuova Dolce Vita (New Sweet Life) in Korea.
To commemorate the launch of the V8 GT Ferrari Roma, which was released in March 2020, Ferrari has been running its La Nuova Dolce Vita, a global video campaign depicting a new sweet life realized in major cities around the world. Local influencers, selected in 7 countries including Italy, Switzerland, Japan, China, the United States and Germany, introduced beautiful places and unforgettable experiences that represent their cities with Ferrari Roma and share the meaning of “La Nuova Dolce Vita” unfolding in them.
For Korea, actor Jung Haein was selected as the influencer of the campaign. The first video, set in Seoul, was unveiled last December and now, six months later, the second video, set in Busan, has been presented to the public. Many considered the first video shot in Seoul with tradition, modernity, tranquillity, and dynamism coexisting at places such as Gwanghwamun and Namdaemun, Namsan, and the Han River to have perfectly captured Ferrari Roma's refined design and beautiful visuals in harmony with Jung Haein's urban chic image, and calm voice.
While emotions in the first video of La Nuova Dolce Vita were presented through monologue while going about daily life in Seoul characterized by glamorous sights and landmarks, in the second video, a new sweet life was juxtaposed harmoniously with nature behind the wheel of Ferrari Roma feeling rested and relaxed, while weaving through Hwangnyeongsan Mountain, Gwangan Bridge, Gwanmiheon, Songjeong Beach, and Busan Cinema Center.
The new video of La Nuova Dolce Vita can be viewed on Ferrari FMK’s official domestic Instagram, as well as Ferrari headquarters’ YouTube, and Instagram.
Meanwhile, Ferrari Roma, the new front-midship GT model, which was unveiled in Korea last March, was developed under the theme of La Nuova Dolce Vita, a contemporary reinterpretation of La Dolce Vita (a new sweet life). It harkens back to the bountiful and carefree lifestyle of Rome in the 1950s and 1960s, which was the golden age of thriving culture. Consequently, it featured beautifully harmonious proportions, elegantly pure and balanced volumes, and refined styling inspired by the front-midship engine GT introduced at the time. The V8 turbo engine, 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, 5-position manettino, and best weight/power ratio of its best-in-class performance have elevated this Ferrari model, while offering the highest level of performance and pure driving pleasure.
