Seoul, 2 April 2019 - Ferrari held the first session of ‘2019 Pilota Ferrari Around the World Korea’, a special driving course reserved for Ferrari customers on 30th and 31st of March.
This year, the program was hosted at the Yong-In Speedway, improving the convenience for the participants with the state-of-the-art facilities and easy and convenient access.
The ‘Pilota Ferrari Around the World Korea’ is a one-on-one customized training program for Ferrari clients based on drivers’ skills and vehicles and conducted by professional instructors from Italy. The program is particularly popular among clients as participants, who complete the training program obtain the complete certification of Sports Course, the 1st level of ‘Corso Pilota Ferrari Driving Program’, Ferrari’s global customized driving training program.
During the first program of the year, 40 participants received a customized training in their own Ferraris. Participants learn various driving techniques through track activities, including car control exercises on a low grip skid surface to help them get an accurate feel for the true performance of their Ferrari cars. In addition, a free of charge safety inspection was performed on all participants’ vehicles.
“Together with the clients we had a special time experiencing Ferrari’s racing DNA. FMK will spread Ferrari’s exclusive culture and contribute to the development of motor sports culture in Korea by providing various programs for its clients.”, said Cho Kyung-ho, the General Manager of Ferrari brand at FMK Co. Ltd, the official importer and distributor of Ferrari in South Korea.
FMK Co. Ltd, the official importer and distributor of Ferrari in South Korea, donated all the participation fees from the event to ‘Save the Children’, a child welfare institution in South Korea.
