October 12, 2023 – Ferrari
successfully hosted “Esperienza Ferrari Purosangue,” a test drive program for
its clients, in Yongin from October 9 to 11.
“Esperienza Ferrari” is a one-of-a-kind test drive program that allows
customers to be in the driver seat of some of the newest Prancing Horses. This
event was designed to allow clients to test drive Ferrari Purosangue for the
first time in Korea, Ferrari’s first four-door and four-seater sports car in
the brand’s history.
Some 50 clients participated in this program, consisting of a vehicle
introduction by Italian professional instructors and a test driving session.
Customers test drove Ferrari Purosangue for 30 minutes and experienced the agile
movement and driving pleasure thanks to 725cv power bursting from the
Maranello’s most iconic engine, the naturally-aspirated V12, the latest
iterations of the vehicle’s dynamic control systems, including the “Ferrari
active suspension,” and innovative layout.
“It is amazing to experience the same dynamic performance and handling
response level as other Ferrari sports cars even though it is a four-door and
four-seater model. It is something I have never experienced before, offering
outstanding performance with the ultimate comfort of flying first class,” said
a customer who participated in the event.
Along with the Esperienza Ferrari Purosangue, the “2023 Passione Ferrari
Club Challenge” was organized on October 7 and 8.
This year, the Club Challenge grid in Korea includes 8 registered
competitors all aiming to clinch the quickest lap time. Owners of the
track-only Ferrari 488 Challenge cars are eligible to take part in Passione
Ferrari Club Challenge in 2023. The tool of choice for local competitors is the
current Ferrari 488 Challenge EVO.
Passione Ferrari Club Challenge pits drivers against the clock in a ‘time
attack’ competition. At each round, drivers are also given the chance to
systematically finesse their driving ability under the guidance of expert
instructors, focusing on constant improvement throughout each day of the round
and across the entire season.
Club Challenge tuition covers all aspects of performance vehicle control
and technique, and integrates training for professional racing situations to
equip competitors with the skills needed to advance to one of the ‘door-to-door’
Ferrari Challenge racing series taking place around the world, including
Ferrari Challenge Japan.
Every current Ferrari Challenge car is fitted with telemetry devices for
recording detailed lap data. This brings insights that can be broken down and
analysed, generating the necessary information to improve lap times, and
allowing for direct comparison with other drivers. The goal is to develop
confidence and ability, and extract the best possible performance from each
driver in preparation for the next step of Ferrari Challenge competition.
Between sessions, competitors also have the chance to meet other Ferrari
Challenge entrants who share the same enthusiasm for Ferrari and for
motorsport, while enjoying trackside hospitality and special events throughout
the season. To those who feel, live and share a passion for motorsport, the
Passione Ferrari Club Challenge program is the perfect outlet.
“Esperinza Ferrari Purosangue holds special significance as it allows Korean
customers to have an opportunity to test drive the Purosangue, which has drawn
attention as a game-changer in the global automotive industry since its launch,”
said Jin Young Kim, the General Manager of the Ferrari brand in FMK. “We hope
Ferrari’s exclusive events can give our customers a meaningful time.”
