“FERRARI e-CHALLENGE” WILL BE HELD FOR ITS CUSTOMERS

April 15, 2022 – Ferrari, one of the world’s leading luxury brands, will hold "Ferrari e-Challenge Korea" for its customers.

FMK recently set up the Driving Simulation Center at the Banpo showroom and announced that "Ferrari e-Challenge Korea" consists of four rounds will be held this year, starting with the 1st round today. This program, designed for customers who already participated or wish to participate in the Ferrari Challenge, will be held every year starting 2022.

The simulator installed at the Ferrari Driving Simulation Center is a product by Ghepard of Wave Italy, a renowned manufacturer of immersive racing simulators, and Assetto Corsa software is embedded. With the simulator, customers can experience the virtual driving of a Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo. What's unique is that it allows customers to experience various circuits worldwide, including well-known circuits in Europe and the US, and Southeast Asia, Japan, China, and Korea, including the Inje, Yeongam and Yongin Circuit.

Customers can experience the virtual driving with this simulator to be encouraged to participate in the Ferrari Challenge, the most renowned single-marque championship. As preliminary steps to Ferrari Challenge, customers need to complete all four-part sequence of Ferrari Corso Pilota.

Meanwhile, FMK plans to allow customers who visit the showroom to experience the simulator freely, as well.

"The Ferrari e-Challenge Korea is intended to allow our customers to experience Ferrari Challenge Race as an e-sports” said Cho, Kyung-ho, Managing Director of Ferrari brand at FMK. He added, “We will provide customers with an opportunity to indirectly experience the racing, the core of the Ferrari brand.”
